Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive clinical environment. In this role, you will work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to promote comfort, safety, and positive health outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with care plans, clinical protocols, and state regulations.
  • Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  • Administer medications and treatments as permitted by licensure and organizational policies.
  • Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and routine clinical procedures.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity, privacy, and comfort.
  • Document care accurately and timely in patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members to coordinate care and address concerns.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
  • Assist with discharge planning, patient education, and continuity of care as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in good standing.
  • Experience providing patient care in a clinical, long-term care, acute care, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of basic nursing principles, patient safety, and infection prevention.
  • Ability to observe, assess, and report patient status accurately.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
